This year's Oscar nominations are due out later, with La La Land likely to land as the clear frontrunner.

The modern musical romance has swept film fans off their feet, and its stars Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling are expected to be among the nominees.

The question is - how many nominations will the film get in total, and can it equal the Oscars record of 14?

Titanic and All About Eve currently share that record, while Mary Poppins is the most nominated musical with 13.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - "Star Wars" filmmaker George Lucas has settled on Los Angeles for the home of his $1 billion storytelling museum, after pulling the project from Chicago last year.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said Tuesday that the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art will be located in Exposition Park in downtown Los Angeles.

"I believed in the vision for the Lucas Museum, and we went after it with everything we have — because I know that L.A. is the ideal place for making sure that it touches the widest possible audience," Garcetti said in a statement, thanking Lucas and his wife, Mellody Hobson.

The museum was initially planned for Chicago, but Lucas ran into legal challenges from an open-spaces group and pulled the project. Garcetti immediately moved to woo the filmmaker to house the museum in Los Angeles.

The proposed museum, valued at $1 billion and funded by Lucas, would feature exhibitions of Lucas’ collection of paintings, illustrations and digital art from the blockbuster "Star Wars" movie franchise he started in 1977.

"South Los Angeles’s Promise Zone best positions the museum to have the greatest impact on the broader community, fulfilling our goal of inspiring, engaging and educating a broad and diverse visitorship," the museum’s board of directors said in a statement.

The proposed site for the museum is next to the University of Southern California, where Lucas studied film and met future collaborators including Steven Spielberg.

Lucas sold his "Star Wars" franchise to Walt Disney Co. in 2012 for $4 billion.

Disney rebooted the franchise with six new films, including a new trilogy in the space saga commencing with 2015’s "The Force Awakens," and standalone stories such as December’s "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."

According to media reports, Shah Rukh Khan has been asked to play a cameo role in Salman Khan s upcoming starrer movie ‘Tubelight’. It has been quite long ago that fans witnessed the both stars together.

It was way back in 2007 when we saw Salman Khan dance on a multi-star song in movie  Om Shanti Om  alongside Shah Rukh Khan but the wait is finally over.

The film Tubelight is directed by the Bajrangi Bhaijan maestro Kabir Khan. Salman Khan was highly appreciated for his acting in the movie and it was a big hit. Salman Khan plays lead role in Tubelight also where he falls in love with a girl from China. It will be released in June, 2017.

Shah Rukh and Salman duo was a major hit back in 1995 when both starred in ‘Karan Arjun’ after which they worked together in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in 1998.

Rihanna reportedly felt "sick" when she saw Drake's loved-up Instagram picture with Jennifer Lopez.

The 28-year-old singer was seeing the chart-topping rap star earlier this year, and is said to be seriously unhappy about her ex-boyfriend dating Jennifer.

A source explained: "That picture of them together, all hugged up, made Rihanna sick. To the point where she wanted to throw her phone down three flights of stairs."

However, the 'Work' hitmaker is also slightly relieved that Drake has moved on from her.

The insider told HollywoodLife.com: "Rih is just glad it's not her falling for this BS.

"Better J.Lo than her. The only thing Drake's ever been good at is talking a good game and never following through."

This comes after a source claimed that Jennifer, 47, is "very smitten" with the rapper.

The insider explained: "Jen is looking forward with excitement to the new year. She keeps hanging out with Drake, and he has visited her house. She has nothing but nice things to say about Drake.

"They do work on music together [but are] clearly enjoying each other on another level too. Jen loves the attention and she seems very happy to be spending time with him. Drake is very charming. He treats Jen with lots of respect. She seems very smitten."

Another source close to the situation also claimed that the couple have been trying to keep their burgeoning romance a secret.

The insider shared: "Jen and Drake have tried to keep their romance under wraps by suggesting they are just working together, but the truth is they are an item.

"They have been seeing each other for a number of weeks and her friends are saying she is already smitten. The age gap doesn't bother them. They have fun together and that's all that matters."

After 12 years with Fox News, Megyn Kelly is moving on and up to host several shows at NBC. In a broad multiyear deal with the broadcast network, Kelly will anchor an NBC News program on Sunday evening, host an hour-long daily daytime news talk show, and become a mainstay in special political news events.

The new gig means that Kelly will also raise her salary from the previously reported $10 million to $12 million range at Fox to likely between $15 million and $20 million at NBC, according to The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.

Pakistani idol Fawad Khan, whose name keeps popping up in local TV and film industry and Bollywood frequently, is rarely photographed with his family. Official photographers and paparazzi have rather always dogged his path, snapping pictures of him with other celebrities.

But a picture started making rounds on the Internet on Wednesday, depicting the Humsafar actor with his wife Sadaf and son Ayaan, and treating fans with a burst of love.

The photograph shows Khan with one arm wrapped around Sadaf’s shoulders, and his other hand holding Ayaan’s. His son, on the other hand, seems to be interested in something beyond the camera lens.

However, Elayna – their daughter – is nowhere to be seen.

Khan, who has made a strong name in TV and movies alike, has professed his love for Sadaf time and again. The duo has two kids – Elayna and Ayaan.
